Generated with the LSTM model. All instruments have been mapped to a string quartet.
If the negative weight is too small, false positives' impact becomes too small, and the orchestration too crowded
When using NWX-ent as a selection criterion, the training process is stopped earlier (around the first epoch !) and the results are qualitatively very bad, with a lot of notes being off the harmony of the piano score.
This zip file contains the orchestations generated using different strategies.
To read and listen to MIDI files, a possible editor is Musescore (https://musescore.org/en).
In each folders, the scores obtained after the successive genearive steps are indicated with numbers, and the final results prefixed by "final_".
Three examples are sampled for each type of generation ("final_0", "final_1" and "final_2").
The backward models swith off too many notes and lead to excessively sparse orchestrations.
This zip file contains generated orchestration proposed by the different NADE architectures we investigated.
